FAQ

Q: Do I need the Premier mobile service to receive email on my blackberry?

A: No. You can use the basic plus package for this. The premier service goes above and beyond basic email by offering push email & calendar synchronization support for a variety of devices. For all other mobile clients we offer the java mobile client that allows you to view all your mail and appointments. We'll be launching a blackberry BES option later this year.

Q: We all use different computers, so of our staff use Outlook and some use Macs but don't like Entourage. How can you help?

A: We don't limit you to a platform. For mac windows we provide full service OS-X sync services support, so your users can use iCal, Apple Mail and the OS-X address book and even entourage. For Windows we support Outlook with our ZCS Outlook Connector. You can also use any other client of choice for email. Zimbra also supports CalDav compliant applications, like Mozilla Sunbird.

Q: Do you offer on site installations?

A: We specialise in hosted applications only. For companies with less than 50 users the costs involved in professional outsourcing are a fraction of the costs to manage it in house.

Q: Can I mix and match? I have some executives who need the full service and others who just need email - can you do this?

A: Yes! Contact us for more information.

Which Plan is best for you?

Choose Plus:

If you need to share basic data within your organization: Calendar, Contacts and shared email folders. We don't provide connectors with this account - but you can use Plaxo to sync the account data between Windows or Mac and your Zimbra account. You can also use a shared calendar for basic events sharing and you can send out iCal request for meetings.

If you just use your blackberry or mobile for basic email access.

Choose Premier:

If you need to go beyond basic sharing, ie: The ability to share wiki-style documents, to share internet file folders (your briefcase) with clients and to have full synchronisation with MS Outlook & Apple OS-X Sync Services.

To have advanced group scheduling - to check resource availability - ie: conference rooms and to check other colleagues availability before sending out meeting invites.

If you need to access push-style email and calendar functionality on your mobile. We also provide a mobile J2ME client that works on most mobiles as well as a custom iPhone interface.

Options & Upgrades

Blackberry - Full Synchronisation of Calendar Data & Mail Option (We provision a BES account for you). Pricing details will be released when the product is available.

Additional space: We try not to limit you on space requirements and aim to enforce a fair usage policy. If you would like a larger message box we charge £1.00/GB
